Perfect for families, groups of friends, wedding guests and weekend escapes, this spacious home invites you to slow down, reconnect and enjoy the beauty of the hills.

The light-filled living space is designed for relaxing together, with soaring cathedral ceilings, oversized leather lounges, a cosy Coonara wood fire, central heating and a large Smart TV for quiet evenings in. Whether you’re gathering after a day of exploring or simply enjoying the view, the open-plan layout creates a welcoming space to spend time together.

The fully equipped kitchen makes entertaining effortless, featuring an espresso coffee machine, dishwasher, large freezer/refrigerator and everything needed to prepare meals at home. Step outside onto the elevated deck, where glass balustrades frame beautiful treetop views and native birdlife provides the soundtrack to your morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Stone on the Hill comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three queen bedrooms, each with heating and cooling for year-round comfort. The private downstairs master suite includes an ensuite and French doors opening onto the garden, while two upstairs bedrooms share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Ideally located in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges, you’re just a short drive from charming villages, renowned gardens, scenic walking trails, cosy cafés and popular wedding venues, making Stone on the Hill an excellent base for exploring everything the region has to offer.

Stone on the Hill features multiple internal and external staircases and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

As with many properties in the Dandenong Ranges, internet and mobile reception can occasionally be affected by the surrounding landscape. Guests requiring a reliable connection for work are encouraged to bring a backup hotspot or modem.

Bookings are based on twin-share occupancy (two guests per bedroom). If additional bedrooms are required for single occupancy, an additional linen and housekeeping fee may apply.

Wood Fire Policy: From the beginning of the declared fire danger season (generally December to as late as May, subject to change) we will not be providing firewood or setting fireplaces/fire pits. Please enquire for more details. It is also prohibited on windy and Total Fire Ban days at any time of the year.
