Looking for a country escape? Are you a fly fishing enthusiast? Interested in the snow at Lake Mountain? Bower Bird Cottage is a cute one-bedroom retreat in Marysville, just a 5-minute drive from town.

Enjoy serene views from the bedroom window as cows meander across distant fields, and wake up to the melodic songs of various birds each morning.

The cottage is conveniently close to Lake Mountain for the  snow season, (if Mother Nature plays nicely and provides snow!).  Lake Mountain does have a website and live Webcam, so you can check out what's happening on the Mountain. Also check out bushwalking (in warmer weather!), and the Steavenson River for fly fishing. The cottage accommodates up to 3 guests with 1 double bed and 1 single bed in the same bedroom. The kitchenette is equipped with an air fryer, microwave, toaster oven, two electric hot plates, a kettle, and a toaster. The bathroom is snug but functional, featuring a shower, vanity, and toilet.

The cosy kitchenette/sitting area includes a sofa, table and chairs, and a ceiling fan, along with board games, card games and a selection of vintage VHS videos to watch! The bedroom has reverse cycle air conditioning in the bedroom, a little fan heater for the bathroom.

Surrounded by a beautiful, mature English-style garden. Try your luck fishing in the  Steavensons River!
