Meet Jane
Hi! I’m Jane, and I grew up in Emerald before moving to the city in my 20s, only to come right back to Emerald to raise my family. I’ve spent the last 15 years guiding people through mindful movement, Pilates, and dance. While I’ve been active throughout my whole life, my passion for movement solidified when I started pole dancing in 2010. From there, the door opened to other styles of dance and movement, including burlesque dancing, contortion, Pilates, and more! I love teaching all different people, but I have a particular interest in working with hypermobile clients and helping them to understand their bodies better. Being hypermobile myself, I developed a deep appreciation for Pilates when I was pregnant with my son (who is now 6!), as I suffered from severe pelvic girdle pain, and Pilates was the only thing that helped me manage the pain. I went on to complete my Certificate IV in Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology, and I am so excited to bring my knowledge to Emerald!
At Coven Movement, we believe movement is more than exercise—it’s a way to build strength, confidence, connection, and wellbeing. Through thoughtful Pilates and movement classes, we create a welcoming space where people of all ages, abilities, and stages of life can move in a way that feels supportive and sustainable.
Our approach combines mindful movement with functional strength, helping you improve mobility, balance, and body awareness while feeling empowered in your everyday life. Whether you’re new to Pilates, returning to movement after a break, or looking to deepen your practice, you’ll find a community-focused environment where you can move at your own pace and feel genuinely supported.
The name Coven Movement reflects our belief in the power of community—a gathering of people who come together to grow stronger, support one another, and celebrate what their bodies can do. We are proud to offer kid-friendly classes and a space where movement can fit into real life, making wellness more accessible for everyone.
